WordAgents: A Custom Dashboard and Order Workflow System

WordAgents needed a way to manage the full order lifecycle, from a new Wayfront order coming in through writer assignment, editing, and final delivery, without relying on manual file handling and status tracking across a growing team of writers and editors.

Coordinating that workflow manually meant folders, templates, and permissions all had to be set up by hand for every order, and status updates had to be communicated separately rather than living in one system everyone could see.

The Web Hunters built a complete order management system for WordAgents on top of Wayfront, with three role-based dashboards, Writer, Editor, and Admin, coordinating the entire workflow. When a Wayfront order comes in, the system auto-creates Google Drive folders, copies a document template, and sets permissions automatically.

Writers claim orders and submit drafts, editors finalize and the system auto-messages clients with the document link, and admins manage users, claims, and writer access from a single place. Status updates sync back to Wayfront in real time, keeping the order record and the production workflow in step with each other.
