SNS Dog Sanctuary: 64% More Donations

Special Needs Senior Dog Sanctuary needed a website that felt compassionate while still guiding visitors toward donations. Rescue stories are sensitive by nature, and the site had to share them respectfully while building the kind of donor trust that turns a visit into a gift.

The organization also needed to organize sponsorships, one-time donations, dog profiles, and care needs without the site feeling overwhelming. On top of that, it had to stay simple and mobile-friendly, and easy for the team to update as new dogs arrived and new stories needed telling.

The Web Hunters built a custom WordPress site using PHP, JavaScript, and CSS, with a donation plugin to handle giving and an Instagram Feed integration to keep the site connected to the sanctuary's social storytelling. The structure was built around emotional storytelling, clear donation options, sponsorship messaging, and accessible contact details.

The donation flow was structured specifically to make one-time gifts and monthly sponsorships easy to understand and act on, removing friction between a visitor reading a dog's story and deciding to help.
