The Challenge

EFL Magazine needed to organize a wide range of educational content without overwhelming users, a common challenge for publishing platforms serving readers with different content needs across articles, podcasts, and resources. Teachers, trainers, and contributors each needed a way to find relevant content quickly.

The platform also needed to support teachers, trainers, and contributors with different content needs, meaning the site had to serve both readers consuming content and contributors submitting it.

The Solution

The Web Hunters built a custom WordPress site with PHP, JavaScript, CSS, and jQuery, planning the structure around category navigation, content discovery, and contributor submission pathways. Google Analytics tracked readership patterns across the growing content library.

By separating reader-focused content discovery from contributor submission pathways, the platform could keep serving a fast-growing archive of articles, podcasts, and resources without becoming difficult to navigate.
