The Web Hunters built a Zapier automation turning Slack messages into ClickUp tasks with no manual entry. An AI step analyzes each message and extracts the title, due date, and intended assignee, then routes intelligently: if the message relates to a previous task, it finds the parent and creates a subtask.

If the message describes a new task, the workflow picks the right team member from the message context and creates the task with full details. A Slack reaction confirms the task was created either way, giving the team instant confirmation without leaving the conversation.
