Special Needs Senior Dog Sanctuary required a warm, trustworthy website to share its mission of caring for senior dogs with medical, physical, or emotional needs. The goal was to communicate compassion, family-based care, and donor-supported rescue while encouraging one-time donations and monthly sponsorships. Built on WordPress using PHP, JavaScript, and CSS, the website focuses on emotional storytelling, dog profiles, donation pathways, and clear contact information. Current sanctuary dogs and angel dog stories create a personal connection with visitors. A donation plugin supports contributions, while Instagram Feed integration helps keep supporters engaged. The final website builds trust and encourages meaningful support.

The main challenge was creating a website that felt compassionate while still guiding users toward donations. The sanctuary needed to share sensitive rescue stories respectfully and build trust with donors. Another challenge was organising sponsorships, one-time donations, dog profiles, and care needs without making the site feel overwhelming. The website also needed to remain simple, mobile-friendly, and easy to update so new dog stories, donation needs, and social content could be managed regularly.
